NAVARRE
HAS ALWAYS BEEN associated to wine. The oldest remains
of a Navarre bodega date from the Roman era, evidence of
the deep roots of a tradition and know-how which are now
naturally combined with the latest technology.
The ‘Navarre’ Designation of Origin now covers
over 20,000 hectares of vineyards producing not only delicious
rosé wines, to be served cold, or renowned white
wines and muscatels, but above all red wine of growing prestige
which are now highly valued elsewhere. Viña Valdorba,
headquartered in Garínoain, in the Valdizarbe sub-zone,
only 20 kilometres from Pamplona and on the Royal Route,
is a young, small wine-making facility, and it prefers to
remain small in order to concentrate on the quality of its
wine.
